WHO
IS JESUS CHRIST?
Jesus
Christ is our savior. Atos 4:12; Romanos 8:38,39.
And in no other is there
salvation: for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, through
which we may have salvation. Atos 4:12.
For I am certain that not death,
or life, or angels, or rulers, or things present, or things to come, or powers, Or things on high, or things under the earth, or anything which is made,
will be able to come between us and the love of God which is in Christ Jesus
our Lord. Romanos 8:38,39.
The
apostle Paul was a religious man. But to receive the grace of salvation from
Jesus Christ he had to abandon his religion.
So
we conclude this: What religion does not save anyone. Who saves is Jesus
Christ.
But
to know Jesus Christ and receive from his salvation it is necessary to know the
testimony of Jesus Christ, lived. And once we know the testimony of Jesus
Christ, we need to live according to his model of life. Mark Marcos 8:34-38.
And turning to the mass of people
with his disciples, he said to them, If any man has the desire to come after
me, let him give up all other desires, and take up his cross and come after me.
Whoever has a desire to keep his life, will have
it taken from him; and whoever gives up his life because of me and the good
news, will keep it. What profit has
a man if he gets all the world with the loss of his life? And what would a man give in exchange for his life? Whoever has a feeling of shame because of me and my
words in this false and evil generation, the Son of man will have a feeling of
shame because of him, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy
angels. Marcos 8:34-38.
And
the model of life of Jesus Christ is announced to us in the Holy Scriptures.
But
the sacred scriptures only serve our salvation by the faith in Christ
Jesus. 2 Timóteo 3:14-17.
As the apostle Paul guides us. Look:
But see that you keep to the
teaching you have been given and the things of which you are certain, conscious
of who has been your teacher; And that from
the time when you were a child, you have had knowledge of the holy Writings,
which are able to make you wise to salvation, through faith in Christ Jesus. Every holy Writing which comes from God is of
profit for teaching, for training, for guiding, for education in righteousness: So that the man of God may be complete, trained and
made ready for every good work. 2 Timóteo 3:14-17.
Therefore,
all Holy Scripture is fundamental, as long as it is read and understood, by faith
in Christ Jesus. 2 Timóteo 3:15.
And that from the time when you
were a child, you have had knowledge of the holy Writings, which are able to
make you wise to salvation, through faith in Christ Jesus. 2 Timóteo 3:15.
Therefore,
the scriptures without the faith that is in Christ Jesus, does not save us, on
the contrary, it leads us to the second death, or hell.
This
is what the apostle Paul discovered the day he fell from his horse, and he
renounced all the knowledge of the scriptures that he had, in favor of the
faith that is in Christ Jesus. Acts Atos 26:13-18.
In the middle of the day, on the
road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining round me and
those who were journeying with me. And when we
had all gone down on the earth, a voice came to me, saying in the Hebrew
language, Saul, Saul, why are you attacking me so cruelly? It is hard for you
to go against the impulse which is driving you. And I said, Who are you, Lord? And the Lord
said, I am Jesus, whom you are attacking. But get up on your feet: for I have come to you for this purpose, to
make you a servant and a witness of the things in which you have seen me, and
of those in which you will see me; And
I will keep you safe from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I send
you, To make their eyes open, turning them from the dark to the light, and
from the power of Satan to God, so that they may have forgiveness of sins and a
heritage among those who are made holy by faith in me. Atos 26:13-18.
You
see, the apostle was a faithful follower of the Holy Scriptures, however, Jesus
Christ appears to him and says that he needed to come out of the power of
darkness, into light. From the power of Satan to God. Acts Atos 26:18.
To make their eyes open, turning
them from the dark to the light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that
they may have forgiveness of sins and a heritage among those who are made holy
by faith in me. Atos 26:18.
Therefore,
see that the Holy Scriptures, without the faith that is in Jesus Christ, do not
save us. On the contrary, it keeps us in the darkness and power of Satan; As
was the case with the apostle Paul, before he acquired his faith in Jesus
Christ. Galatians Gálatas 1:11-14.
As the blessed apostle declares:
Because I say to you, my brothers,
that the good news of which I was the preacher is not man's. For I did not get it from man, and I was not given teaching in it, but
it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ. For news has come to you of my way of life in the past
in the Jews' religion, how I was cruel without measure to the church of God,
and did great damage to it: And I went farther in the Jews' religion than
a number of my generation among my countrymen, having a more burning interest
in the beliefs handed down from my fathers. Gálatas 1:11-14.
Thus,
as soon as the Apostle Paul acquires his faith in Jesus Christ, he abandons the
knowledge and practices he received from the Holy Scriptures of Judaism, to
live the faith that is in Jesus Christ. Philippians Filipenses 3:2-9. As the apostle Paul
explains:
Be on the watch against dogs,
against the workers of evil, against those of the circumcision: For we are the circumcision, who give worship to God and have glory in
Jesus Christ, and have no faith in the flesh: Even though I myself might have faith in the flesh: if
any other man has reason to have faith in the flesh, I have more: Being given circumcision on the eighth day, of the
nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in relation to
the law, a Pharisee: In bitter hate
I was cruel to the church; I kept all the righteousness of the law to the last
detail. But those things which were
profit to me, I gave up for Christ. Yes
truly, and I am ready to give up all things for the knowledge of Christ Jesus
my Lord, which is more than all: for whom I have undergone the loss of all
things, and to me they are less than nothing, so that I may have Christ as my
reward, And be seen in him, not
having my righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through faith in
Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Filipenses 3:2-9.
Therefore,
it is by faith in Jesus Christ, that using the Holy Scriptures of the Old and
New Testaments we will answer the question: Who is Jesus Christ?
As
we said at the beginning, Jesus Christ is our Savior. But Jesus Christ Saves us
from whom? Jesus Christ saves us from the hand of the great dragon.
So
when the great dragon took a third of the angels out of heaven; Two-thirds
stayed in the heavenly house.
Thus,
if one-third of the angels in heaven are with the dragon in darkness; therefore
two-thirds remained with God the Father in light 1 John 1 João 1:5; Tiago 1:17 in the heavenly house.
Revelation Apocalipse 12:3,4.
This is the word which came to us
from him (Jesus Christ) and which we give to you, that God is light and in him
there is nothing dark.1 João 1:5.
Every good and true thing is given
to us from heaven, coming from the Father of lights, with whom there is no
change or any shade made by turning. Tiago 1:17.
And there was seen another sign in
heaven; a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads
seven crowns. And his tail was pulling a third part of the stars of
heaven down to the earth Apocalipse 12:3,4. Stars are the angels Apocalipse 1:20.
This
heavenly father, who stayed in heaven with two-thirds of the heavenly angels,
was the one who sent Jesus Christ to save us from the great dragon; which is
also called: Satan, primitive serpent, Devil deceiver of the whole world. Apocalipse 12:9.
And the great dragon was forced
down, the old snake, who is named the Evil One and Satan, by whom all the earth
is turned from the right way; he was forced down to the earth, and his angels
were forced down with him. Apocalipse 12:9.
Therefore,
human beings are part of the angels that were bound to earth with the great
dragon.
Therefore,
the mission of Jesus Christ is to save us from the great dragon, through a
process called redemption.
Redemption,
therefore, is the ransom of mankind by Jesus Christ. Romanos 8:19-23.
For the strong desire of every
living thing is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God. For every living thing was put under the power of change, not by its
desire, but by him who made it so, in hope That all living things will be made free from the power of death and
will have a part with the free children of God in glory. For we are conscious that all living things are
weeping and sorrowing in pain together till now. And not only so, but we who have the first fruits of
the Spirit, even we have sorrow in our minds, waiting for the time when we will
take our place as sons, that is, the salvation of our bodies. Romanos 8:19-23.
In
this way, to be redeemed by Jesus Christ, we need to accept, through faith, the
witness of the love of God the Heavenly Father, which Jesus passed on to us
with his life.
For,
as by faith, we have departed from the house of our Heavenly Father, and have
come into darkness with the dragon; So, by faith in the testimony of Heavenly
Father's love, as Jesus Christ, we must return. 1 Corinthians 1 Coríntios 15:45-58.
And so it is said, The first man
Adam was a living soul. The last Adam is a life-giving spirit. But that which is natural comes before that which is of the spirit. The first man is from the earth, and of the earth: the
second man is from heaven. Those who are of the earth are like the man who
was from the earth: and those who are of heaven are like the one from heaven. And in the same way as we have taken on us the image
of the man from the earth, so we will take on us the image of the one from
heaven. Now I say this, my brothers,
that it is not possible for flesh and blood to have a part in the kingdom of
God; and death may not have a part in life. See, I am giving you the
revelation of a secret: we will not all come to the sleep of death, but we will
all be changed. In a second, in the shutting of an eye, at the sound of
the last horn: for at that sound the dead will come again, free for ever from
the power of death, and we will be changed. For this body which comes to
destruction will be made free from the power of death, and the man who is under
the power of death will put on eternal life. But when this has taken place, then that which was
said in the Writings will come true, Death is overcome by life. O death, where is your power? O death, where are your
pains? The pain of death is sin; and
the power of sin is the law: But
praise be to God who gives us strength to overcome through our Lord Jesus
Christ. For this cause, my dear
brothers, be strong in purpose and unmoved, ever giving yourselves to the work
of the Lord, because you are certain that your work is not without effect in
the Lord. 1 Coríntios 15:45-58.
Therefore,
the first human being to have in him the seed of our redemption was Adam.
From
Adam, the seed of our salvation, was present in the patriarchs, until it
reached Noah.
Noah,
as we know, through the Holy Scriptures was kept alive, along with his wife,
sons and daughters-in-law, when the flood with water. Gênesis 6:6-8. As it is written:
And the Lord had sorrow because he
had made man on the earth, and grief was in his heart. And the Lord said, I will take away man, whom I have made, from the face
of the earth, even man and beast and that which goes on the earth and every
bird of the air; for I have sorrow for having made them. But Noah had
grace in the eyes of God. Gênesis 6:6-8.
However,
the reason Noah found grace and survived was not because Noah was a better
human being than those of his generation, but because in Noah was the seed of
our salvation. And mankind could not be destroyed, until they received the
knowledge of the testimony of the love of God the Heavenly Father; who offers
us redemption, provided that we renounce the dragon and return to the heavenly
house, following the exemplary testimony of Jesus Christ. Matthew Mateus 24:7-14. As the scriptures say:
For nation will be moved against
nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and men will be without food, and the
earth will be shaking in different places; But all these
things are the first of the troubles. Then
they will be cruel to you, and will put you to death: and you will be hated by
all nations because of my name. And numbers of people will be turned from
the right way, and will give one another up and have hate for one
another. And a number of false prophets will come, causing error. And
because wrongdoing will be increased, the love of most people will become cold. But he who goes through to the end will get salvation. And this good news of the kingdom will be given
through all the world for a witness to all nations; and then the end will come. Mateus 24:7-14.
And
so it was that from Noah, there was always a patriarch bearing the seed of our
salvation. And, one of those patriarchs was Abram.
With
Abram, the great Dragon made an alliance. As reported in Gênesis 15:1-21. Look:
After these things, the word of
the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Have no fear, Abram: I will keep
you safe, and great will be your reward. And Abram
said, What will you give me? for I have no child and this Eliezer of Damascus
will have all my wealth after me. And
Abram said, You have given me no child, and a servant in my house will get the
heritage. Then said the Lord, This man will not get the heritage, but a
son of your body will have your property after you. And he took him out into the open air, and said to
him, Let your eyes be lifted to heaven, and see if the stars may be numbered;
even so will your seed be. And he
had faith in the Lord, and it was put to his account as righteousness. And he said to him, I am the Lord, who took you from
Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land for your heritage. And he said, O Lord
God, how may I be certain that it will be mine? And he said, Take a young cow of three years old, and
a she-goat of three years old, and a sheep of three years old, and a dove and a
young pigeon. All these he took, cutting them in two and putting one half
opposite the other, but not cutting the birds in two. And evil birds came
down on the bodies, but Abram sent them away. Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep came on
Abram, and a dark cloud of fear. And
he said to Abram, Truly, your seed will be living in a land which is not
theirs, as servants to a people who will be cruel to them for four hundred
years; But I will be the judge of that nation whose servants they are, and
they will come out from among them with great wealth. As for you, you will go to your fathers in
peace; at the end of a long life you will be put in your last resting-place. And in the fourth generation they will come back here;
for at present the sin of the Amorite is not full. Then when the sun went down and it was dark, he saw a
smoking fire and a flaming light which went between the parts of the bodies. In that day the Lord made an agreement with Abram, and
said, To your seed have I given this land from the river of Egypt to the great
river, the river Euphrates: The
Kenite, the Kenizzite, and the Kadmonite, And the Hittite, and the
Perizzite, and the Rephaim, And the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the
Girgashite, and the Jebusite. Gênesis 15:1-21.
As
we see from Gênesis 15:1-21 in
this covenant, the great dragon promised to hand over to the descendants of
Abram the lands of various peoples in that region.
And
four hundred years was the time prophesied by the Godhead, that he appeared in
darkness to Abram, that the promise of Gênesis 15:1-21might be fulfilled.
So
after Abram, who came to be called Abraham, Gênesis 17:5; for being the father of
many nations. As seen:
No longer will your name be Abram,
but Abraham, for I have made you the father of a number of nations. Gênesis 17:5.
However,
even though Abraham was the father of many nations, the deity who appeared in
the darkness to Abraham chose only the Israelites as a holy nation, since they
were the bearers of the seed of our salvation, Jesus Christ.
So
from Abraham the seed passed to Isaac; and from Isaac to Jacob.
This
Jacob had his name changed to Israel. Gênesis 32:28,. As seen:
And he said, Your name will no
longer be Jacob, but Israel: for in your fight with God and with men you have
overcome. Gênesis 32:28.
And
it will, therefore, be from the people of Israel that our Savior and Redeemer
will be born.
In
the days of Abram the deity said:
And he said to Abram, Truly, your
seed will be living in a land which is not theirs, as servants to a people who
will be cruel to them for four hundred years; But I will be
the judge of that nation whose servants they are, and they will come out from
among them with great wealth. Gênesis 15:13,14.
Therefore,
when the four hundred years prophesied in Gênesis 15:13,14 were completed,
the divinity appeared to a descendant of Abraham, named Moses, in order to
fulfill what was prophesied in Gênesis 15:1-21.
Now Moses was looking after the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: and he took the flock to the back of the waste land and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the angel of the Lord was seen by him in a flame of fire coming out of a thorn-tree: and he saw that the tree was on fire, but it was not burned up. And Moses said, I will go and see this strange thing, why the tree is not burned up, And when the Lord saw him turning to one side to see, God said his name out of the tree, crying, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Do not come near: take off your shoes from your feet, for the place where you are is holy. And he said, I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses kept his face covered for fear of looking on God. And God said, Truly, I have seen the grief of my people in Egypt, and their cry because of their cruel masters has come to my ears; for I have knowledge of their sorrows; And I have come down to take them out of the hands of the Egyptians, guiding them out of that land into a good land and wide, into a land flowing with milk and honey; into the place of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite. For now, truly, the cry of the children of Israel has come to me, and I have seen the cruel behaviour of the Egyptians to them. Come, then, and I will send you to Pharaoh, so that you may take my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt. And Moses said to God, Who am I to go to Pharaoh and take the children of Israel out of Egypt? And he said, Truly I will be with you; and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: when you have taken the children of Israel out of Egypt, you will give worship to God on this mountain. And Moses said to God, When I come to the children of Israel and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you: and they say to me, What is his name? what am I to say to them? And God said to him, I AM WHAT I AM: and he said, Say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you. And God went on to say to Moses, Say to the children of Israel, The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has sent me to you: this is my name for ever, and this is my sign to all generations. Go and get together the chiefs of the children of Israel, and say to them, The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has been seen by me, and has said, Truly I have taken up your cause, because of what is done to you in Egypt; And I have said, I will take you up out of the sorrows of Egypt into the land of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite, into a land flowing with milk and honey. And they will give ear to your voice: and you, with the chiefs of Israel, will go to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and say to him, The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has come to us: let us then go three days' journey into the waste land to make an offering to the Lord our God. And I am certain that the king of Egypt will not let you go without being forced. But I will put out my hand and overcome Egypt with all the wonders which I will do among them: and after that he will let you go. And I will give this people grace in the eyes of the Egyptians, so that when you go out you will go out with your hands full. For every woman will get from her neighbour and from the woman living in her house, ornaments of silver and gold, and clothing; and you will put them on your sons and your daughters; you will take the best of their goods from the Egyptians. Êxodo 3:1-22.
Therefore,
it fell to this Moses, an Israelite descendant of Abram, to fulfill the
covenant made with Abraham. For this, the deity recorded on two tables of
stone, how the covenant made with Abraham would be fulfilled. Êxodo 34:1-27.
And the Lord said to Moses, Make
two other stones like the first two; and I will put on them the words which
were on the first stones, which were broken by you. And be ready by the morning, and come up on Mount Sinai, and come before
me there in the morning, on the top of the mountain. No one is to come up with you, and let no man be
seen anywhere on the mountain; let no flocks or herds come near to get their
food at its foot. So Moses got two stones cut like the first; and early in
the morning he went up Mount Sinai, as the Lord had said, with the two stones
in his hand. And the Lord came down in the cloud and took his place by the
side of Moses, and Moses gave worship to the name of the Lord. And the
Lord went past before his eyes, saying, The Lord, the Lord, a God full of pity
and grace, slow to wrath and great in mercy and faith; Having mercy on
thousands, overlooking evil and wrongdoing and sin; he will not let wrongdoers
go free, but will send punishment on children for the sins of their fathers,
and on their children's children to the third and fourth generation. Then
Moses quickly went down on his face in worship. And he said, If now I have
grace in your eyes, let the Lord go among us, for this is a stiff-necked
people, and give us forgiveness for our wrongdoing and our sin, and take us for
your heritage. And the Lord said, See, this is what I will undertake:
before the eyes of your people I will do wonders, such as have not been done in
all the earth or in any nation: and all your people will see the work of the
Lord, for what I am about to do for you is greatly to be feared. Take care to do the orders which I give you today; I will send out from before
you the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the
Hivite and the Jebusite. But take care, and do not make any agreement with the people of the land where
you are going, for it will be a cause of sin to you. But their altars are
to be overturned and their pillars broken and their images cut down: For
you are to be worshippers of no other god: for the Lord is a God who will not give
his honour to another. So see that you make no agreement with the people
of the land, and do not go after their gods, or take part in their offerings,
or be guests at their feasts, Or take their daughters for your sons; for when their daughters give worship
before their gods, they will make your sons take part with them. Make for
yourselves no gods of metal. Keep the feast of unleavened bread; for seven days your food is to be bread
without leaven, as I gave you orders, at the regular time in the month Abib;
for in that month you came out of Egypt. Every first male child is mine;
the first male birth of your cattle, the first male of every ox and sheep. A
lamb may be given in payment for the young of an ass, but if you will not make
payment for it, its neck will have to be broken. For all the first of your sons
you are to make payment. No one is to come before me without an offering. Six
days let work be done, but on the seventh day take your rest: at ploughing time
and at the grain-cutting you are to have a day for rest. And you are to
keep the feast of weeks when you get in the first-fruits of the grain, and the
feast at the turn of the year when you take in the produce of your fields. Three
times in the year let all your males come before the Lord, the God of Israel. For
I will send out the nations before you and make wide the limits of your land;
and no man will make an attempt to take your land while you go up to give
worship to the Lord, three times in the year. No leaven is to be offered with the blood of my offering, and the offering of
the Passover feast may not be kept till the morning. Take the first-fruits of your land as an offering to the house of the Lord your
God. Let not the young goat be cooked in its mother's Milk And the Lord
said to Moses, Put all these words in writing; for on them is based the
agreement which I will make with you. Êxodo 34:1-27.
Exodus Êxodo 34:1-27, requires a supplement
that was deliberately removed from the text and set aside. This complement is
found in Deuteronomy Deuteronômio 20:10-17:
When you come to a town, before
attacking it, make an offer of peace. And if it
gives you back an answer of peace, opening its doors to you, then all the
people in it may be put to forced work as your servants. If however it will not make peace with you, but
war, then let it be shut in on all sides: And when the Lord your God has
given it into your hands, let every male in it be put to death without mercy. But
the women and the children and the cattle and everything in the town and all
its wealth, you may take for yourselves: the wealth of your haters, which the
Lord your God has given you, will be your food. So you are to do to all
the towns far away, which are not the towns of these nations. But in the
towns of these peoples whose land the Lord your God is giving you for your
heritage, let no living thing be kept from death: Give them up to the
curse; the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and
the Jebusite, as the Lord
your God has given you orders: Deuteronômio 20:10-17.
We
know that these were the true words written by Divinity, in the stone tablets
of Moses, because it was these determinations that Joshua, the most faithful of
human beings the divinity, fulfilled at the time. Joshua Josué 1:1-3; Joshua Josué 10:40; Joshua Josué 12:7-24.
Now after the death of Moses, the
servant of the Lord, the word of the Lord came to Joshua, the son of Nun,
Moses' helper, saying, Moses my servant is dead; so now get up! Go over
Jordan, you and all this people, into the land which I am giving to them, to
the children of Israel. Every place on which you put your
foot I have given to you, as I said to Moses. Josué 1:1-3.
So Joshua overcame all the land,
the hill-country and the South and the lowland and the mountain slopes, and all
their kings; all were put to death: and every living thing he gave up to the
curse, as the Lord, the God of Israel, had given him orders. Josué 10:40.
And these are the kings of the
land whom Joshua and the children of Israel overcame on the west side of
Jordan, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon to Mount Halak, which goes up to
Seir; and Joshua gave the land to the tribes of Israel for a heritage, in
keeping with their divisions; In the
hill-country, and in the lowland, and in the Arabah, and on the mountain
slopes, and in the waste land, and in the South; the Hittites, the Amorites,
and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. The king of
Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is near Beth-el, one; The king of
Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one; The king of Jarmuth, one; the
king of Lachish, one; The king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one; The king
of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one; The king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one; The king of Libnah, one; the
king of Adullam, one; The king of Makkedah, one; the king of Beth-el, one; The
king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one; The king of Aphek, one; the king of Lassharon, one; The king of Madon, one; the
king of Hazor, one; The king of Shimron-meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one; The
king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one; The king of Kedesh, one; the
king of Jokneam in Carmel, one; The king of Dor on the hill of Dor, one; the king of Goiim in Gilgal, one; The
king of Tirzah, one; all the kings together were thirty-one. Josué 12:7-24.
From
this the following becomes clear: First, that there were not ten commandments
recorded on Moses' stone tablets for mankind, as appears in Exodus Êxodo 20:1-17;Deuteronomy Deuteronômio 5:1-21, where it says:
Thou shalt not kill. On the contrary, there were only stipulations exclusively
for the Israelites; and the main determination recorded was for the Israelites
to exterminate all the peoples of the promised land: Deuteronomy Deuteronômio 20:16,17. As can be
seen from the following determination:
But in the towns of these peoples
whose land the Lord your God is giving you for your heritage, let no living
thing be kept from death: Give them up to the curse; the Hittite, the Amorite,
the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, as the Lord your
God has given you orders: Deuteronômio 20:16,17.
The
other distant peoples were to be enslaved, and, in case of resistance, they
would be exterminated. Deuteronomy Deuteronômio 20:10-16. As stated in the
following text:
When you come to a town, before
attacking it, make an offer of peace. And if it
gives you back an answer of peace, opening its doors to you, then all the
people in it may be put to forced work as your servants. If however it
will not make peace with you, but war, then let it be shut in on all sides: And
when the Lord your God has given it into your hands, let every male in it be
put to death without mercy. But the women and the children and the cattle
and everything in the town and all its wealth, you may take for yourselves: the
wealth of your haters, which the Lord your God has given you, will be your
food. So you are to do to all the towns far away, which are not the towns
of these nations. But in the towns of these peoples whose land the Lord
your God is giving you for your heritage, let no living thing be kept from
death: Deuteronômio 20:10-16.
And
yet, it is also clear that the promised land was wherever the Israelites, in
the person of Joshua, set foot. Joshua Josué 1:3.
Every place on which you put your
foot I have given to you, as I said to Moses. Josué 1:3.
Therefore,
we are indebted to the Israelis, who with the death of Joshua, did not carry
out what was determined in the registered covenant, in the tables of stone of
Moses. Otherwise, most human beings would all have been either enslaved or
exterminated. Judges Juízes 2:7-12.
And the people were true to the
Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the responsible men who were
still living after the death of Joshua, and had seen all the great work of the
Lord which he had done for Israel. And death came
to Joshua, the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, he being a hundred and ten
years old. And they put his body in the earth in
the land of his heritage in Timnath-heres, in the hill-country of Ephraim to
the north of Mount Gaash. And in time death overtook all that generation;
and another generation came after them, having no knowledge of the Lord or of
the things which he had done for Israel. And the children of Israel did
evil in the eyes of the Lord and became servants to the Baals; And they
gave up the Lord, the God of their fathers, who had taken them out of the land
of Egypt, and went after other gods, the gods of the peoples round about them,
worshipping them and moving the Lord to wrath. Juízes 2:7-12.
And
the divinity, since the Israelite people, a people considered holy, because
from them the savior of humanity would be born; Seeing that the Israelites
refused to continue the course of Joshua, regarding what was determined in
Deuteronomy Deuteronômio 20:10-17,
he proceeded to punish them, with all the curses foreseen in: Leviticus Levítico 26:15-39; Deuteronomy Deuteronômio 28:15-68. Among these
curses, the Israelites had to eat the flesh of their own sons and daughters.
Therefore,
the reason why the Israelites suffer persecution until today, was also one of
the reasons why Jesus Christ was crucified, namely: The Israelites refused to
exterminate all the peoples of the promised land Deuteronomy Deuteronômio 20:16,17. As well as, they
refused to enslave and, in case of resistance, to exterminate, all peoples
other than pure ethnic Israelis. Deuteronomy Deuteronômio 20:10-16.
Even
if religion does not divulge it to humanity, however, what is recorded here was
exhaustively declared and proven by Ezra. Ezra Esdras 9:1-7. Look:
Now after these things were done,
the captains came to me and said, The people of Israel and the priests and
Levites have not kept themselves separate from the people of the lands, but
have taken part in the disgusting ways of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the
Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the
Amorites. For they have taken their daughters for themselves and
for their sons, so that the holy seed has been mixed with the peoples of the
lands; and in fact the captains and rulers have been the first to do this evil. And hearing this, with signs of grief and pulling
out the hair of my head and my chin, I took my seat on the earth deeply
troubled. Then everyone who went in fear of the words of the God of
Israel, because of the sin of those who had come back, came together to me; and
I kept where I was, overcome with grief, till the evening offering. And at
the evening offering, having made myself low before God, I got up, and with
signs of grief, falling down on my knees, with my hands stretched out to the
Lord my God, I said, O my God, shame keeps me from lifting up my face to
you, my God: for our sins are increased higher than our heads and our
evil-doing has come up to heaven. From the days of our fathers till this day we
have been great sinners; and for our sins, we and our kings and our priests
have been given up into the hands of the kings of the lands, to the sword and
to prison and to loss of goods and to shame of face, as it is this day. Esdras 9:1-7.
Therefore,
Jesus Christ came to rescue us from the power of the great dragon, and to bring
us back to the house of God the Heavenly Father.
Then
the great dragon said to Moses and the Israelite people: Deuteronomy Deuteronômio 32:39.
See now, I myself am he; there is
no other god but me: giver of death and life, wounding and making well: and no
one has power to make you free from my hand. Deuteronômio 32:39.
From
the statement in Deuteronomy Deuteronômio 32:39, the great dragon
makes it clear, that he is the only emperor of death. And the emperor of death,
the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, by the ministry of the apostle Paul declared
him to be the devil. Hebrews 2:14.
And because the children are flesh
and blood, He (Jesus Christ) took a body himself and became like
them; so that by his death he might put an end to him who had the power of
death, that is to say, the Evil One; Hebreus 2:14.
And
the devil, the apocalypse declares that he is the great dragon:
Revelation Apocalipse 12:9.
And the great dragon was forced
down, the old snake, who is named the Evil One and Satan, by whom all the earth
is turned from the right way; he was forced down to the earth, and his angels
were forced down with him. Apocalipse 12:9.
Therefore,
the great dragon, Revelation Apocalipse 12:9, is the deity that
appeared to all the patriarchs, who brought with them the seed of Jesus Christ.
And
the great dragon is the creator of the flesh that is useless, according to
Jesus Christ. John João 6:63.
The spirit is the life giver; the
flesh is of no value: the words which I have said to you are spirit and they
are life. João 6:63.
For the flesh has desires against
the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; because these are opposite the
one to the other; so that you may not do the things which you have a mind to
do. But if you are guided by the Spirit, you are not under
the law. Now
the works of the flesh are clear, which are these: evil desire, unclean things,
wrong use of the senses, Worship of images, use of strange powers, hates,
fighting, desire for what another has, angry feelings, attempts to get the
better of others, divisions, false teachings, Envy, uncontrolled drinking
and feasting, and such things: of which I give you word clearly, even as I did
in the past, that they who do such things will have no part in the kingdom of
God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, a quiet mind, kind
acts, well-doing, faith, Gentle behaviour, control over desires: against such there is no law. And
those who are Christ's have put to death on the cross the flesh with its
passions and its evil desires. If we are living by the Spirit, by the
Spirit let us be guided. Gálatas 5:17-25.
Therefore,
God Heavenly Father created us in spirit and truth, but the dragon condemned us
to carnality. John João 1:1-5; 1
John 1 João 4:4-21;
Romans Romanos 5:5-18.
From the first he was the Word,
and the Word was in relation with God and was God. This Word was from the first in relation with God. All things
came into existence through him, and without him nothing was. What came
into existence in him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the
light goes on shining in the dark; it is not overcome by the dark. João 1:1-5.
You are of God, my little
children, and you have overcome them because he who is in you is greater than
he who is in the world. They are of the world, so their talk is the
world's talk, and the world gives ear to them. We are of God: he who has the knowledge of God gives
ear to us; he who is not of God does not give ear to us. By this we may see
which is the true spirit, and which is the spirit of error. My loved
ones, let us have love for one another: because love is of God, and everyone
who has love is a child of God and has knowledge of God. He who has no love has
no knowledge of God, because God is love. And the love of God was made
clear to us when he sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life
through him. And this is love, not that we had love for God, but that he
had love for us, and sent his Son to be an offering for our sins. My loved ones, if God had such love for us, it is right for us to have love for
one another. No man has ever seen God: if we have love for one another,
God is in us and his love is made complete in us: And his Spirit which he
has given us is the witness that we are in him and he is in us. And we
have seen and give witness that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of
the world. Everyone who says openly that Jesus is the Son of God, has God
in him and is in God. And we have seen and had faith in the love which God
has for us. God is love, and everyone who has love is in God, and God is in
him. In this way love is made complete in us, so that we may be without
fear on the day of judging, because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love: true love has no room for fear, because where fear
is, there is pain; and he who is not free from fear is not complete in love. We
have the power of loving, because he first had love for us. If a man says,
I have love for God, and has hate for his brother, his words are false: for how
is the man who has no love for his brother whom he has seen, able to have love
for God whom he has not seen? And this is the word which we have from him,
that he who has love for God is to have the same love for his brother. 1 João 4:4-21.
And hope does not put to shame;
because our hearts are full of the love of God through the Holy Spirit which is
given to us. For when we were still without strength, at the
right time Christ gave his life for evil-doers. Now it is hard for anyone to give his life even for an
upright man, though it might be that for a good man someone would give his
life. But God has made clear his love to us,
in that, when we were still sinners, Christ gave his life for us. Much
more, if we now have righteousness by his blood, will salvation from the wrath
of God come to us through him. For if, when we were haters of God, the
death of his Son made us at peace with him, much more, now that we are his
friends, will we have salvation through his life; And not only so, but we
have joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we are now at peace
with God. For this reason, as through one man sin came into the world, and
death because of sin, and so death came to all men, because all have done evil: Because, till the law came, sin was in existence, but sin is not put to the
account of anyone when there is no law to be broken. But still death had power
from Adam till Moses, even over those who had not done wrong like Adam, who is
a picture of him who was to come. But the free giving of God is not like
the wrongdoing of man. For if, by the wrongdoing of one man death came to
numbers of men, much more did the grace of God, and the free giving by the
grace of one man, Jesus Christ, come to men. And the free giving has not
the same effect as the sin of one: for the effect of one man's sin was
punishment by the decision of God, but the free giving had power to give
righteousness to wrongdoers in great number. For, if by the wrongdoing of
one, death was ruling through the one, much more will those to whom has come
the wealth of grace and the giving of righteousness, be ruling in life through
the one, even Jesus Christ. So then, as the effect of one act of
wrongdoing was that punishment came on all men, even so the effect of one act
of righteousness was righteousness of life for all men. Romanos 5:5-18.
And
if you are not of Jesus Christ, it is because religion is holding you prisoner
to the great dragon, which says: Isaiah Isaías 45:5-9.
I am the Lord, and there is no
other; there is no God but me: I will make you ready for war, though you had no
knowledge of me: So that they may see from the east and from the west
that there is no God but me: I am the Lord, and there is no other. I
am the giver of light and the maker of the dark; causing blessing, and sending
troubles; I am the Lord, who does all these things. Let righteousness come
down, O heavens, from on high, and let the sky send it down like rain: let the
earth be open to give the fruit of salvation, causing righteousness to come up
with it; I the Lord have made it come about. Cursed is he who has an argument with his Maker, the pot which has an argument
with the Potter! Will the wet earth say to him who is working with it, What are
you doing, that your work has nothing by which it may be gripped? Isaías 45:5-9.
Reading
Isaiah Isaías 45:5-9 remember
what the Holy Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ told us:
Hebrews Hebreus 2:14,15.
And because the children are flesh
and blood, He (Jesus Christ) took a body himself and became like them; so that by
his death he might put an end to him who had the power of death, that is to
say, the Evil One; And let those who all their lives were in chains
because of their fear of death, go free. Hebreus 2:14,15.
For
thus says the devil, the great dragon, who is also called Satan and deceives
the whole world Revelation Apocalipse 12:9:
The Lord, the Holy One of Israel,
and his Maker, says, Will you put a question to me about the things which are
to come, or will you give me orders about my sons, and the work of my hands? I
have made the earth, forming man on it: by my hands the heavens have been
stretched out, and all the stars put in their ordered places. Isaías 45:11,12.
I have made the earth, and man and
beast on the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm;
and I will give it to anyone at my pleasure. And now I have
given all these lands into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, my
servant; and I have given the beasts of the field to him for his use. Jeremias 27:5,6.
And
how he delivered up the Israelites to the murderer Nebuchadnezzar Jeremiah Jeremias 27:5,6; the great dragon
wanted to hand over the glory of this world to Jesus Christ. Lucas 4:5-8. But Jesus Christ disowned
him. Luke Lucas 4:5-8;
Matthew Mateus 4:8-10.
And he took him up and let him see
all the kingdoms of the earth in a minute of time. And the Evil One said, I will give you authority over all these, and the
glory of them, for it has been given to me, and I give it to anyone at my
pleasure. If
then you will give worship to me, it will all be yours. And Jesus in
answer said
to him, It has been said in the Writings, Give worship to the Lord your God,
and be his servant only. Lucas 4:5-8.
So
who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus
Christ is the image of Heavenly Father, who takes us out of the power of
darkness, that is, from the power of the great dragon, and transports us into
the kingdom of Heavenly Father's love, through redemption. Colossians Colossenses 1:12-20.
Giving praise to the Father who
has given us a part in the heritage of the saints in light; Who has made us free from the power of evil and given us a place in the
kingdom of the Son of his love; In whom we have our salvation, the
forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the unseen God coming into
existence before all living things; For by him all things were made, in
heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, authorities, lords, rulers,
and powers; all things were made by him and for him; He is before all
things, and in him all things have being. And he is the head of the body,
the church: the starting point of all things, the first to come again from the
dead; so that in all things he might have the chief place. For God in full
measure was pleased to be in him; Through him uniting all things with himself,
having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, I say, uniting
all things which are on earth or in heaven. Colossenses 1:12-20.
Regrettably
the religion, for whom Jesus declared: John João 8:43-45.
Why are my words not clear to you?
It is because your ears are shut to my teaching. You are the
children of your father the Evil One and it is your pleasure to do his desires.
From the first he was a taker of life; and he did not go in the true way
because there is no true thing in him. When he says what is false, it is
natural to him, for he is false and the father of what is false. But because I
say what is true, you have no belief in me. João 8:43-45.
Because the god of this world has
made blind the minds of those who have not faith, so that the light of the good
news of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, might not be shining on
them. 2 Coríntios 4:4.
Religion
is blind and deaf, seen the beautiful words of the great dragon, who deceives
everyone.
But though he had done such a
number of signs before them, they still had no belief in him: So that the words of the prophet Isaiah might come true, when he said,
Lord, who has any belief in our preaching? and the arm of the Lord, to whom has
it been unveiled? For
this reason they were unable to have belief, because Isaiah said again, He
has made their eyes blind, and their hearts hard; for fear that they might see
with their eyes and get knowledge with their hearts, and be changed, and I
might make them well. (Isaiah said these words because he saw his glory.
His words were about him.) João 12:37-41.
Who
blinded the eyes of the Israelites and for them religion in general?
Make the tree good, and its fruit
good; or make the tree bad, and its fruit bad; for by its fruit you will get
knowledge of the tree. Mateus 12:33.
But let your words be simply, Yes
or No: and whatever is more than these is of the Evil One. Mateus 5:37.
To
blind, to confuse, to prevent the salvation of human beings, what kind of fruit
is it? Sure! Evil fruit. Therefore, Isaiah saw the glory of the great dragon
and spoke of him.
Make the hearts of this people
fat, and let their ears be stopped, and their eyes shut; for fear that they may
see with their eyes, and be hearing with their ears, and their heart may become
wise, and they may be turned to me and made well. Then I said, Lord, how long? And he said in
answer, Till the towns are waste and unpeopled, and the houses have no men, and
the land becomes completely waste, And
the Lord has taken men far away, and there are wide waste places in the land. Isaías 6:10-12.
That
is why Jesus declares: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make
you free. John João 8:32.
And you will have knowledge of
what is true, and that will make you free. João 8:32.
Jesus
is the truth that frees us from the great dragon, the god of religion.
Jesus said to him, I am the true
and living way: no one comes to the Father but by me. João 14:6.
Having put an end to the
handwriting of the law which was against us, taking it out of the way by
nailing it to his cross;
Having made himself free from the rule of
authorities and powers, he put them openly to shame, glorying over them in it. Colossenses 2:14,15.
All who came before me are thieves
and outlaws: but the sheep did not give ear to them. I am the door: if any man goes in through me he will have salvation, and
will go in and go out, and will get food. The
thief comes only to take the sheep and to put them to death: he comes for their
destruction: I have come so that they may have life and have it in greater
measure. I am the good keeper of sheep: the good keeper gives his life for the sheep. João 10:8-11.
Who came before Jesus Christ? John João 10:8-11. The one who came before Jesus Christ and presented himself to all the patriarchs who carried the seed of Jesus Christ was the great dragon. And if you read the Holy Scriptures, with eyes open by faith in Jesus Christ, you will see that from the Genesis of Adam, until the apocalypse; all the dragon did was steal, kill and destroy. Therefore, while the apostle Paul did not convert to Jesus Christ, even though he was one of the greatest religious of his time, nevertheless, his function, as a follower of the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament, according to the determinations of the great dragon, was: to kill and destroy.
For news has come to you of my way
of life in the past in the Jews' religion, how I was cruel without measure to
the church of God, and did great damage to it: And I went
farther in the Jews' religion than a number of my generation among my
countrymen, having a more burning interest in the beliefs handed down from my
fathers. Gálatas 1:13,14.
From
this it follows: That if religion does not depart from the great dragon and
cling to the love of God the Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, lived and
witnessed, all humanity will self-destruct, as the dragon declares in Isaiah:
Isaiah Isaías 6:10-12;
Zephaniah Sofonias 1:1-3;
Amos Amós 5:18,19;
Zephaniah Sofonias 3:8.
Make the hearts of this people
fat, and let their ears be stopped, and their eyes shut; for fear that they may
see with their eyes, and be hearing with their ears, and their heart may become
wise, and they may be turned to me and made well. Then I said, Lord,
how long? And he said in answer, Till the towns are waste and unpeopled, and
the houses have no men, and the land becomes completely waste, And the Lord has taken men far away, and there are
wide waste places in the land. Isaías 6:10-12.
The word of the Lord which came to
Zephaniah, the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son
of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah. I
will take away everything from the face of the earth, says the Lord. I will take away man and beast; I will take away the
birds of the heaven and the fishes of the sea; causing the downfall of the
evil-doers, and cutting man off from the face of the earth, says the Lord. Sofonias 1:1-3.
Sorrow to you who are looking for
the day of the Lord! what is the day of the Lord to you? it is dark and not
light. As if a man, running away from a lion, came face to
face with a bear; or went into the house and put his hand on the wall and got a
bite from a snake. Amós 5:18,19.
For this reason, go on waiting for
me, says the Lord, till the day when I come up as a witness: for my purpose is
to send for the nations and to get the kingdoms together, so that I may let
loose on them my passion, even all my burning wrath: for all the earth will be
burned up in the fire of my bitter passion. Sofonias 3:8.
Therefore,
from now on, know: If you do not accept and live the witness of the love of God
the Father, according to the life of Jesus Christ; it's because you don't have
your name written in the Lamb's book of Life. If so, you are still under the
dragon's power, in these terms: John João 3:36; Revelation Apocalipse 13:4-10.
He who has faith in the Son has
eternal life; but he who has not faith in the Son will not see life; God's
wrath is resting on him. João 3:36.
And they gave worship to the
dragon, because he gave authority to the beast; and worshipping the beast, they
said, Who is like the beast? and who is able to go to war with him? And
there was given to him a mouth to say words of pride against God; and there was
given to him authority to go on for forty-two months. And his mouth was open to say evil against God, and
against his name and his Tent, even against those who are in heaven. And it was
given to him to make war on the saints and to overcome them: and there was
given to him authority over every tribe and people and language and nation. And
all who are on the earth will give him worship, everyone whose name has not
been from the first in the book of life of the Lamb who was put to death. If
any man has ears, let him give ear. If any man sends others into prison,
into prison he will go: if any man puts to death with the sword, with the sword
will he be put to death. Here is the quiet strength and the faith of the
saints. Apocalipse 13:4-10.
So
what is needed for us to be saved with Jesus Christ from the power of the great
dragon and return to our Heavenly Father? Acts Atos 16:31.
And they said, Have faith in the
Lord Jesus, and you and your family will have salvation. Atos 16:31.
And they overcame him through the
blood of the Lamb and the word of their witness; and loving not their lives
they freely gave themselves up to death. Apocalipse 12:11.
And
they (true Christians) overcame him (overcame the great dragon) by the blood of
the Lamb (by the blood of Jesus Christ) and by the word of their testimony; and
they did not love their lives to the death. (And they preferred to die rather
than kill their fellow men) Revelation Apocalipse 12:11.
You have knowledge that it was
said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say to
you, Do not make use of force against an evil man; but to him who gives you a
blow on the right side of your face let the left be turned. And if any
man goes to law with you and takes away your coat, do not keep back your robe
from him. And whoever makes you go one mile, go with him two. Give to
him who comes with a request, and keep not your property from him who would for
a time make use of it.You have knowledge that it was said, Have love for your
neighbour, and hate for him who is against you: But I say to you, Have
love for those who are against you, and make prayer for those who are cruel to
you; So that you may be the sons of your Father in heaven Mateus 5:38-45.
And

of Jesus Christ has revealed to us, and what our redemption will be like, read
